Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini, is launching a remigration plan to deport 2700 illegal immigrants coming from places such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria and Ivory Coast.
Italy has almost completely ended illegal immigration via the sea and has combatted the illegal immigration business and human trafficking NGOs.
Italy’s security forces has been saddled with this huge task with administrative order of removing illegals and remigration them back to their countries of origin.
Now a budget of 12 million euros has been allocated by Italy’s government to remigrate them. Half of the costs will be covered by the EU.
This comes as part of the Interior Minister’s promise on immigration on his campaign trail, according to Voice of Europe. Salvini proves again why he continues to poll as the most popular politician in Italy’s history.
The Interior Minister posited that “A well organised lawful remigration programme is the only answer to the problems and instability caused by ‘multiculturalism’ and irresponsible border laws allowing uncontrolled mass immigration from third-world countries”
