“Orisa bi Iya Kosi” (yoruba language): Meaning No goddess can equate a mother in the life of a child.

Nigerian super star “Badoo”  real name Olamide Adedeji who three days ago celebrated his son, Batifeori Maximiliano Adedeji’s third birthday, writing on his Instagram page, “Happy birthday, Batifèori Maximiliano Adedeji, more life young King, from Dad, your best pal.”  but barely 4 hours after posting this, he was back on Instagram  to mourn the loss of his mother displaying a black background with the caption: “Orisa bi iya o si” : The rapper’s mother, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji,  died from an undisclosed illness, same day his son turned 3years old.

Olamide Baddo

According to reliable sources Olamide’s mum had been sick for some time before finally given up. Olamide has two other siblings.

Olamide who also lost his dad in 2015, is now officially an orphan.  it is no news the impact his parents played in his is life and career considering someone who started from  a very humble background with nothing and now one of the biggest artist  to emerge from the streets of Nigeria.

There is one of his track  ‘OMO ANIFOWOSE’ that talks about  his struggle before the fame, where he mentioned his mum and dad sold their personal belongings like clothes and shoes just to put food on the table. see video below:
