A plane carrying 143 passengers and 5 crew members made an emergency landing in Philadelphia in the early hour of this morning after the window was damaged and a passenger was sucked out of the plane.
The Southwest airline plane, Boeing 737-700 was en route from New York’s La Guardia airport to Dallas, Texas, According to a passenger, there was a loud explosion and almost immediately the oxygen masks came down and within a matter of 10 seconds the engine hit a window and busted it wide open, the plane dropped 100 feet causing cabin depressurisation that sucked a passenger out of the aircraft but she was eventually pulled back in by other passengers. Everything went out of control as the pilot struggled to
control the plane, the flight attendant also announced that all passengers should brace for an impact, it was a terrible moment for everyone on board says one of the passengers.
The Philadelphia Fire Department announced shortly after the incident that one passenger has been taken to hospital in a critical condition while seven other people were treated for minor injuries at the scene, although the injured passenger eventually died. The real cause of the accident is still not clear at the moment as investigations is ongoing but to God be the glory it could have been worse. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.
